This introductory course will allow you to explore the concepts, tools and techniques used in photography in order to take high quality photographs of your very own. You will be personally guided through your learning journey by a photography expert who will assist you in achieving your goals. Session 1 - (2 hours)

- Introduction to photography principles, terms and definitions

- How to correctly compose and frame photographs

- Shooting photographs using automatic settings on a DSLR

Session 2 - (2 hours)

- What a design brief is and how to write one

- Aperture, shutter speed and ISO

- Shooting photographs using manual settings on a DSLR

Session 3 - (2 hours)

- Exploring black & white and colour photography

- Lighting in photography

- Shooting photographs in response to your design brief

Session 4 - (2 hours)

- Basic photo editing using free software (colour correction, contrast, cropping etc.)

- Finalising and exporting your finished photographs under the guidance of your expert tutor
