Spotlight Multimedia is a unique and innovative training organisation where people can learn, create and explore. We deliver a range of free and accredited BTEC and NCFE multimedia courses to over 19s.
Our courses have been designed to aid and develop the skills required for the digital industries, providing you with the opportunity to enhance your career prospects, build your confidence and challenge yourself in a way you never thought possible.
Courses take place in a bespoke, custom-built multimedia suite in Harold Hill. Our small and friendly team are all industry professionals and qualified teachers who are dedicated to ensuring you have the best possible learning experience with Spotlight Multimedia.
How much are the courses?
The courses are free for those meeting the eligibility criteria: You need to be aged over 19, to have lived in the EU for 3 years or more, and to currently live in a London borough.
What if I have no previous experience?
No previous experience is necessary as you will be guided by an experienced, expert tutor from the basics upwards. Learning is tailored to the needs of each individual with any additional support identified in the first session.
What can I do once the course is complete?
You can enrol onto as many other courses with us at Spotlight Multimedia as you like, all of which are certified and free (pending eligibility). You can also enrol onto a Level 2 course in any of our disciplines with our partner, Havering Adult College. Level 2 courses start each September.

Courses take place at myplace, 343 Dagnam Park Drive, Harold Hill, RM3 9EN.
What time do courses take place?
Courses run one day per week, from 10am–3:30pm, with a lunch break at 12pm. You will be sent a confirmation email with all course information when you enrol.

Director and Head of Music & Audio
Brad is a music producer who has been creating music for over 15 years. He has undertaken many roles in the music industry - ranging from creating sound design for adverts, to producing radio jingles and working as an audio/visual technician. He is a qualified teacher and holds a BA (Hons) in Sound and Music Production.
Director and Head of Film & Media
Matt is a filmmaker who has experience working in a number of different film genres, ranging from commercial to experimental. He is a qualified teacher and has worked in various colleges. He holds a BA (Hons), an MA and a PhD in Film.
Sessional Graphic Design Tutor
Robert is a graphic designer from London/Essex who has been working in graphic design for 8 years. He has worked for several design companies in London, the main company being a licensor for Disney, Marvel, Starwars and Warner Bros. Robert holds a BA (Hons) degree in graphic design, and is currently undertaking his PGCE.
